ABSTRACT
This study is a cross-sectional descriptive survey which has looked at the knowledge of factors responsible for the unmet needs of family planning among women of reproductive age in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. Unmet need of family planning is one of the great public health advances of the past century. Enabling women to make informed decisions about whether and when to have children reduces unintended pregnancies as well as maternal and newborn deaths. The study objective was to examine factors responsible for unmet needs amongst women of reproductive age.
