ABSTRACT
The lability of the inorganic capping ligands on silver nanoclusters (Ag NCs) formed by the microemulsion method was studied in an exchange reaction with cysteine amino acid in aqueous conditions. The essence was to study the feasibility of this exchange reaction in vivo systems with similar biomolecules especially in the field of medicine and drug delivery systems mimicking antigens–antibody reactions in immunology and immunochemistry.
